Have heard of lavender hydrosol?

Lavender hydrosol is the next best thing to lavender water. Lavender hydrosols are made by distillation. The water vapour moves up through the lavender flowers, picking up oils along the way. Once the vapour is cooled, the condensation is called a lavender hydrosol. Unlike lavender waters that are made by infusing lavender flowers in water.

So due to the distillation process all the wonderful, natural properties of lavender remains in the lavender hydrosol to create a beautiful product. The end result of the hydrosol is more likely to retain mineral benefits for the skin and all the potential benefits of lavender essential oil as it is a co-product.
